About

Patricia is a journalist with a long history of working with the publishing industry. Currently, she is a presenter and Online Content Manager at Voice of Lango (88.0 & 100.4 FM). This role ensures that she uses WordPress regularly to posts news updates on Voice of Lango (VOL) website.

She writes articles about advocacy issues for positivity through attitudinal change towards Gender-Based Violence (GBV), abuse , health, gender and social inclusion both online and offline on TND News.

She has also volunteered with Child Fund International in Kampala as a trainer, mentor in various programs supporting the vulnerable community and orphans.

She has over 6 years experience in broadcast, and has grown her potential in writing personal quotes that inspires so many people with recorded testimonies.

Patricia is also the founder of Wanacel Foundation, a women’s rights and advocacy non-profit organization based in Lira city.
She is currently pursuing Public Health, routinely delivers trainings in Evidence and Rights-based SRHR and HIV prevention interventions measuring effects on outcome level, stigma and discrimination.

In short, Patricia is an passionate activist, and has deliberately purposed to pursue opportunities to better herself and impact young people.

Patricia studied her A-level at Lakeside College Luzira, and thereafter pursued Diploma in Journalism at Makerere Institute for Social Development (MISD).
