Okwanga Oscar is a computer scientist, techpreneur, business analyst & developer and a public servant. He serves as Events organizer at Lira WordPress Meetup.
He is the founder of Urban Magazine which is an online media house based in Lira city, with services being shared including news, music uploads and downloads, celebrity gossips, music promotion and digital marketing, among others.
Currently, Oscar works with Lira Public Library as the IT administrator and with Ebenezer University a IT specialist and a Librarian.
Oscar studied O-level at Faith Secondary School Lira, and A-level at Lira Town College. Thereafter he obtained Diploma in Computer Applications, and Bachelor of Computer Applications, all from Amity University, Utter Pradesh, India (Makerere University study centre),
He has also trained in CCNA (UTAMU), Web Accessibility (UNICEF), and Renewable Energy (GIZ).
