Emmanuel Angoda

Emmanuel is the team leader of the WordPress community in Lira city. He is a teacher (ICT/Entrepreneurship) at Lira Town College. He is renown STEM activist and also the founder of Triskelion Education and Skills Initiative (TESI), an educational non-profit that uses ICT to improve education in northern Uganda.

Emmanuel first embraced WordPress in 2013, and has created many websites for various organizations and companies using WordPress. His passion is in promoting STEM, teaching coding (including web design) to young people.

He holds Bachelor of Information & Community Technology (Gulu University), Master of Information Technology (UTAMU), Postgraduate Diploma in Interactive Media from University College Cork (UCC), Ireland, and is currently pursuing Postgraduate Diploma in Education-PGDE (Muni University).

Emmanuel has been intensely active in both the education & ICT sectors, and has received several awards & recognition for his work. In 2017, he was recipient of the prestigious Teachers Making a Difference award. He is an alumni of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, and Ireland-Africa Fellowship programme.

Throughout his career, Emmanuel has made a powerful, positive impact working with schools, universities, and young people in various capacities.
