This presentation details how Emmanuel Angoda, has effectively used WordPress for activism, and to mentor young people in Lango subregion. Ten years ago, WordPress and website use was not widespread in the region, and digitization was seen as a Kampala thing.
Due to his consistent use of his blog to raise and advocate for educational issues, he has inspired many to start blogging.
Emmanuel will also use this session to introduce the WordCamp Lira organizing team, and also introduce other WordCamp, and WordPress leaders in Uganda, and beyond.
