Apili Valerie Olwit is a Ugandan Community Psychologist and public health professional currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health. She works as a counsellor for people living with HIV/AIDS at Ongako Health Centre III and has experience in counseling, research, and community development. She previously served as a Research Assistant with Uganda Society for Disabled Children, a counsellor at Ayago Health Centre III, and completed field attachment with Lira District Local Government.
Apili also participated in WordCamp Lira 2024 and WordCamp Lira 2025 as a volunteer and serves as a first aider and volunteer with the Uganda Red Cross Society. She is passionate about teamwork, community service, learning, and sharing ideas that create positive social impact.
